i was wondering what you guys think would be some good, semi-inexpensive first couple of mods to do that would add some noticable HP...

so far i'm thinking along the lines of chip, headers, exhaust for my first 3?

any input would be great. :shiny:

Take a look at the various Recipes on the site... pretty good rundown there.

I pretty much agree, but my list would be a tiny bit different:

1. ScanTool
2. I would add a new fuel pump if you don't already have one (at least a Walbro 340).
3. Adjustable regulator
4. Cold Air or open element filter
5. Chip

Assuming everything else is up to snuff BTW. With good traction those basics will produce a mid 12 car with good gas.

Add alky to use pump gas.

Nix the idea of headers, they will only slow you down unless you are making some serious power/flowing A LOT of air. The stock ones are good pieces provided they aren't cracked or leaking. And in the event that they are, they can be repaired.
