When I turn and give the car little throttle I get a bit of wheel hop... I never noticed it before... I haven't changed anything and I still got the stock wheels on the car... I plan on changing the axel grease soon... Hopefully this isn't a rear end going bad... I hope it's typical for GN's Thanks!

Presumably you have the limited-slip option on your car. (Option G80 on the sticker under the trunk.) If the fluid has not been changed, and the additive has not been added in some time, doing so may correct it.

If the car does not have limited-slip, or it has a lot of miles, the clutches may be worn and need replacement.

86'000 on the car.... I'll change NOW..... What additive do you recommend and is 90 weight synthetic a good choice for the grease? Thanks

I believe the recommended lube is 75W-90. GM dealers carry the proper limited-slip additive.

My GN was doing the same. Replaced with K & W limited-slip additive and it's smooth now.

Yep get that oil changed and make sure it is at the proper level too. fill plug site hole should have a small trickle when opened on a flat surface. When you do change the fliud do a couple of circles to the right and left to lubricate the clutches with the new fluid. Good luck. Jim
