When welding up the cracked header, does anyone have a recommended reinforcement method? Any tips for the hack welder with a 110V Lincoln MIG?
Pics are always helpful.

Could bolt it to an old head...

I was thinking more about strengthening things up to prevent the crack from reappearing. Would an additional strap tying the primary tubes together be overkill?

I have seen that done.
The metal is a low grade stainless. Using the proper wire and such is key to having it hold, too.

Scratch the MIG. I'll try it with the TIG at work.
What's everyone using for header wrap and gaskets? TIA.
