Which route would you guys recommend for getting a scanner for my car.

First I was thinking about getting the Innovate Digital AFR Gauge(DB gauge kit to be exact) with their analog add on box(SSI-4). It comes with software to read all of the parameters.

Then I started looking into the Powerlogger. Which to be as functional as the previous option would require purchasing the LC-1 for another $200.

My first question between the two is with the all Innovate stuff am i giving up all of the direct connection inputs from the ECM like knock, rpm, etc... that the Powerlogger would have being molded to the ECM?

How does the Powerlogger read in stuff like boost psi, timing, etc?

Thanks in advance

If your car is fairly pedestrian (i.e. sub-700 HP) then the PowerLogger plus wideband is probably the best option. The Innovative stuff is very nice, but as you have found, offers little for integration into the stock ECM.

With the addition of a 3-BAR MAP sensor, you can integrate boost input into the the PowerLogger. And do pick up the signal off the stock harness as well. See the PowerLogger forum: http://www.fullthrottletech.com/forumdisplay.php?f=75

Powerlogger with the LC-1 is what I'm going to go with then.

Thanks for the input
