Hi,

that S- shaped coolant hose between the water pump and intake manifold;
can it be "deleted" without any problems by plugging the the inlet/outlet pipes in the manifold and pump?

ABSOLUTELY NOT unless you are running a race car without a cooling system.

That S shaped hose is commonly referred to as the bypass S hose. Its purpose is to allow circulation of coolant through the engine while the thermostat is closed and no flow of coolant is being circulated through the radiator. It is absolutely necessary for coolant to circulate through the engine at all times while it is running in order to keep engine and coolant temperatures consistent across all the areas of the block and heads, otherwise excessive heat can build up in specific areas of the engine when the thermostat is closed.

Hope that answers your question.

Hi,

thanks for answer! So, no plugging in the daily driven GN. Try to look for new for spare. It is not so easy job to find similar because for its shape....
