Has anyone had problems with trying to find the right paint color for the TR's.
I did some research with sherwin-williams and the results were not good. Since the color is a lacuqer and they don't make lacuqers any more (I think that they stop using lacuqer after the 80's).

Try this link http://tcpglobal.com/autocolorlibrary/

I've never had a problem matching the color using the info from this site. Now I do have a problem blending in patch repairs because of sun fading, etc. I always do the complete panel. The older the paint the harder its going to be to get a perfect match.

My dad and I have had nothing but good luck with http://www.towerpaint.com/ as perfect a match as you would expect.....anything from 1956 Ford Victoria Fiesta Red to 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche Light Pewter Metallic.....they also make lacquer if you so desire

You'd need to hit an auto supply paint store for things like lacquer paints...it is still used quite a bit, but it does require a specific automotive paint supply store for the best results. They can look at your paint codes and give you the right colors. I just painted my S-10 the same as my WH1 Buick, so the paint is very much available.
