today my tranny decided to quit going into gear when i put it into drive but if i put it into first it goes and i can manually shift through all the gears with no problem .i also have noticed a sound coming from somewhere down there which i thought was the speedometer cable in need of lubrication.this sound also got louder when it quit working right. what is my problem any ideas?do i need a rebuild or something stupid?
