Are the 87 GNX rims the same as 88 TA GTA the same? I know they look alot alike are the exact? thanks!

They aren't exact ... the centers are a bit different here the "laces" meet the hub and the offsets are different.
If you use the GTA rims, be sure to use 4 fronts for a better match up of offsets.

well my friends got a set of GTA rims in real good condition i would only have to paint the charcoal centers black and he said he would give them to me- i only need to go buy tires for them. I just got an 87 GN this week and it has weld racing rims on it and im not a big fan of it but i couldnt pass up the 6500$ GN- gotta love guys getting arrested and having to give up their assets :)

Use wheel adapters to correct the offset of the rear wheels. I bought mine from Skulte Performance and they are a very solid machined aluminum and have lined up the back end beautifully. (1.25 inch adapter with a 235 tires)
