suckin oil?

Could someone please help me with the procedure for separating the oil filler tube from the air intake while maintaining proper ventalation for the engine on a 1984 GN.
Your help will be greatly appreciated,

get a K&N breather that fits the hole in the valve cover, and find something to plug the nipple in the air intake.
