i really want to give my 85 T-type some power and performance, but i dont know all that much about turbo charged cars. So i want to find out what are the first things i need to do in order to make this car fast. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Re: power

Alchohol inj. kit to run more boost, acts like an intercooler, and makes pump gas like race gas. Boost controller, to lower boost when alchohol is low/Raise when the time is right. Really need a knock guage, or a better scan tool. Bigger turbo, new fuel filter, Big in tank pump (previous owner may have installed), hood mounted fuel guage to moniter fuel sys., aftermarket chip, done! Maby a few common suspension mods, like frame braces, trunk braces, good shocks, pinion snubber. Trans cooler to keep that POS 200 cool. They can hold up to some good power when built correctly, and kept cool.

THANK YOU - Moderators / Founder

Gents (Scott and Keller),

The experience achieved through your established "Turbo Car" community has been very rewarding and most informative.

The information in this site is very overwhelming and many of "us new folk" have no idea of the information that is available and where to locate the desired information. At times "seemingly simple knowledge" requires a control of emotions and repeat of "the same old info". Your professionalism is appreciated and foremost evidenced through your writings.

While you are most certainly aware of the impact your site has had on many Turbo car enthusiasts, the sole intend of this message is to extend my sincere gratitude and appreciation for the willingness to share your knowledge, experience, patience with som of us, "the uninformed".

An old saying states; “Success can be measured by assisting others in achieving their goals”. Your passion shows and you most certainly have succeeded!

The hope is that other members join me in expression of gratitude and appreciation you have shown through this community. (Anyone?)
