What type of problem are you having? It might be easier to fix if we had some specifics?

BTW I'm down in Orlando.

If your neighbor is a certified GM tech, then he/she should be able to review the no start trouble tree and determine the problem. The trouble tree is separated into two parts, no start fuel problem and no start spark problem.

I had a problem like that once. It was one of the ECM power feed pins. The orange wire in the very corner(Sorry I cant remember the pin #) of the ECM was corroded. If I had to guess I would say ECM related too.

Had something somewhat similiar once..... Turned out to be the oil pressure switch connector. Did a rebuild and put everything back together and it wouldn't fire up. I'm not completely sure of the specifics but if I remember correctly the switch disables the fuel pump output if there's no oil pressure, a safety feature in the event of an accident. Don't know if it inhibits spark of not. I do know we spent many many hours trying to figure out why the beast wouldn't go and it turned out to be a broken connection in the switch socket. Replaced the socket and it's been fine ever since. May be worth a try to back-probe the connector and check it, with all the moving around of parts and wiring harness stuff you may have "caused" the same problem I did. Just my 2 cents....

Lightbulb Re: help!!!

Make sure you have the cam sensor set on the right 'groove'. The sensor body has two grooves, and you might be using the wrong one, wish will do nothing.
