what viscosity is recommended for a stock 87 GN engine ?

is it 10/40 or 10/30 ?

I can't say for certain but what i can tell you is the higher the number the heavier the oil. if you live in a warm to hot climate then it would be better for the engine with 10/40 if it's a cool or cold than i would use 10/30. I hope this is of some help to you. x1349x jpa-r@comcast.net
