Question performance mods

Hello everyone,

I am thinking of buying a 1987 Buick Grand National and was wondering how easy it is to get more performance out of the ole V6. I'm more familiar with the old V8's and not used to turbo chargers and intercoolers and was wondering what all can be done and what is good/not too expensive to do to squeeze out some more ponies. Any help would be appreciated. Also what kind of horse would the mods get? Thanks so much!
