'87 Turbo Limited - Just got it

Just picked up an '87 Turbo Limited w/143k miles that been sitting in a garage for about 3 years. Car was maintained regularly up until that point and ran well. Other than new battery, oil change/filter, anything I might want to check on before getting it running again?

I had an '87 Turbo-T in 1990-92 (white w/red int) and it was a great car. Never lost interest in the cars, just other priorities since then...

Check spark plugs, fuel filter, and air filter....also brakes, brake pads,...you get the point.


Might want to change transmission oil/filter too.

Yep, my thoughts exactly - got everything you suggested today except for the transmission stuff. Will get it running first and go from there. Now need to track down some lt saddle interior parts for it...should be fun!
