Low Oil Pressure
I am aware that GN's and T-types are known for having low oil pressure but i am running at about 5 to 6 lbs at 180 degrees. I tried a heavy oil that helped a little at startup but once it gets warmed up the pressure drops. Someone told me to get a booster plate... What is this and what is a good one to buy.

Re: Low Oil Pressure
A booster plate can be found at most of the vendors (Cotton's, Poston's, etc .)
It provides a new surface for the oil pump gears to ride on and tightens up the clearances in the pump, which can up the oil pressure. You might also have to rebuild the pump gears with something like a Sealed Power or Melling rebuild kit. If that doesn't get the oil pressure up to around 10-12 psi hot, then you may be looking at excessive clearances in the cam bearings, main bearings and/or rod bearings.
