Featured Car - Phillip McGloin's 1986 Grand National

Looks nice from any angle!

Phillip has owned this 1986 T-Top car for over 5 years now. It's been in the family longer than that though, since Phillip's Dad bought it in 1987 from a bank repossission sale. Dad put 90,000 miles on it and then parked it.

It sat for a couple of years, due to a bad MAF sensor, so Phillip grabbed the opportunity and convinced Dad to let him have the car if he could get it running. Before Dad changed his mind, Phillip limped it 10 miles to his house, swapped the sensor and had it running mid 12s at the track!

Since then, Phillip has made quite a few modifications and has the car solidly in the low 11s.
