After having my 87 GN sitting in my drive for 4 years, I have the tank emptied and cleaned, a new fuel pump and hot wire system in, a new set of injectors and a adjustable regulator. Everything is hooked back up, I dumped 15 gal of premium into the tank and I want to check for leaks. The tech page section on injectors suggests using a gray wire (fuel pump test lead) just behind the alternator and running if off the line for the underhood light. I found the under hood light and the alternator but the only gray wire behind the alternator hooks into it. Is that the one or am I missing something?

Thanks for any info,.

There should be an unattached black female connector on the 86/87 cars that can be used for fuel pump activation.
