What kind of performance will i get when i replace my stock fuel pump with kirbans fuel pump? I got poston 107 mild cam, 009 injectors, rjc power plate,2800 stall, atr cold air intake, te-44, 160 ther, on a rebuilt .30 motor.
As of right now with the stock fuel pump the performance on the car is whimpy. I have no codes, running 93 oct chip w 20* timing on 17# of boost.

Performance should come in greater fuel flow. You did not say whether you have a hotwire kit, if not GET ONE. What about a hood mounted fuel gauge for TestNTune to see if the FP goes up with the boost. Any scantool data. It is proven the stock fuel system drops voltage back to the pump because of the age/splices. Get a hotwire with you new FP, PLEASE. Thanks, Joseph.

Should have upgraded your pump before anything else done to the car. Hotwire kit, too.

Setting cam sensor is not that bad, start another thread if you need to. Check the tech articles, there are 3 or 4 good ones. You can set it with or with out a cam position sensor tool. Your lack of ummmmmmmmmmppppp could be several things.
