i am having trouble wit my gn only when i get the pedal close to the floor it is like it looses power or has no boost or starving for fuel. before i took the car out i had the fuel pump out and took it to be tested the guy told me it was shot and he would get me a new one. i failed to tell him it was for a gn so i am wondering if the replacement is no good for the car not pumping enough fuel maybe? i think he probibly just used a standard gm pump. would this cause this to happen? :hail:

That could definitely be the case ... also, when he replaced it, did he change the filter?

I'd put a pressure guage on the rail and see if it rises with boost (1 psi for each psi of boost on the boost gauge). If not, the pump isn't keeping up.

So what'd he order you a pump for? A Yugo? :dunno:
