Lock Line
Where can I get a lock line from? I didn't do an extensive search, so I apologize.
Thanks, Charles |
Re: Lock Line
Are you speaking of a line lock? The device used to do burnouts without stressing the rear brakes?
If so, the rebuildable Hurst unit seems to be one of the best choices. That one is a available at almost any speed shop, or online retailer. (Certainly the "large" ones like Summit, Jegs, etc.) If you are asking about something else, let us know. |

This is what I found. Is this correct and everything that is needed?

Re: Lock Line
That's the piece.
You may need a section of brake line to go to the brake booster. Unless you cut, flare, and put fittings on your existing line. Either way there is a *tiny* bit of bending, wiring, and customization to fitting it all up. |
Re: Line Lock
Thank you. I'm getting ready to order it and post another thread.

Re: Lock Line
Hope you got the installation kit too.

Re: Lock Line
Not sure what all they might include, other than a short length of brake line, pipe tape, and some plugs for the unused holes in the line lock. And those are things that can be procured though a parts store. Though getting them in one quick package is very nice and simple.
