do headers for the 84-85 exist? somebody has to make them or can i upgrade to the 86-87 by eliminating the a/c and make a custom up pipe?

There have been some made in the past. I think Lee Thompson might have made some. I know he made downpipes at one time.

Given low demand, there just isn't a strong market for such items.

The 86-87 headers really would fit the 84-85 intake setup well at all.
