What do you consider high mileage?
I am looking at an 87 regal turbo that has 150K miles on it, new transmission but untouched engine. is this high for these cars? my buddies had 130K and it ran great, but im worried that 150K may be too much of a risk for a daily driver. I need something dependable, so if you have any advice, let me know.

Re: What do you consider high mileage?
Its a 20 year old car. So 150k/20 years = 7.5k/year. Doesn't sound like it was beat on too badly.
With respect to the 'new'/rebuilt transmission, please insure that it is a "BRF" code transmisison (look at the code on the driver's side of the case) with a BR3 or BR2 valvebody. Otherwise, just pass on this one.
