highway driving with a stall convertor
I want to upgrade my TC to a stall convertor and want to know if at hwy speeds will my crusing rpm be the same.

if you get a converter built by a reputable company. you shouldnt notice any difference , until you romp on it

If it is a lockup converter, then under lockup situations - yes. Under unlocked situations (by definition), NO - there will be more slip by design.

I have GOT to learn more about this torque converter business. what does one mean, when they say 'under lock up condtions" i know that means when the tc is locked but.. what exactly.. scott, ken, wheres the TC section of the tech info here.. i cant find it, and want to read up as much as i can, before bombarding you guys with questions....

That is a great description on a torque converter. I always thought is was a hampster and wheel. I guess I was wrong, there's no instructions in the manual on feeding the converter.....except with money.
