fluid change
need an opinion: i heard about this method of changing the trans fluid from an RV forum: disconnect the cooler line at the rad. (the one going back to the trans.), put a 3 or 4 ft. piece of tygon tubing on the return line and put it so it will drain into a WHITE bucket, get 12 or 13 qts. of fluid (uncapped) ready to pour, go ahead and add a qt. or two before startup, start the motor and go to pouring, let run about a minute, kill mtr. ,add 2 or 3 qts. (and so on till the fluid runs clear.). get the level correct and youre done. really takes two people. i did this on my 4x4 and it seems to work. has anyone else done this?

Re: fluid change
It should work fine ... and it'll interchange all the fluid in the converter as well (probably be a lot less messy than dropping the pan!)
Only downside is that it uses a lot of fluid and you don't get the filter changed.
