Default Replacing fuel tank and pump - need advice

I'm getting ready to replace the fuel tank on my bone stock '86 GN. while I'm at it, I want to replace the fuel pump with a WALBRO 340. If I do this, should I get a Bosch 237 or adustable fuel presure regulator? Will the new regulator and pump affect the car's performance? The car is completely stock otherwise. I just don't want to overload it with fuel or cause other problems.

Yes, get an adjustable fuel pressure regulator. depending on the chip and injectors you use you will be changing the fuel pressure. while it is stock now you can adjust the pressure as you need and change it when/if you upgrade.
