Quick Question
Ok, so I am a constant lurker on this site, as I have always wanted to join the ranks of those who own TR's and GN's. This past weekend in my home town though, I came across a GN for sale. My question is if the car is an 85 but has an 87 drivetrain in it, would that increase or decrease the value.
Thanks folks, Heath |

Re: Quick Question
Sounds like mine. IMHO, it's more the pleasure of driving one rather than the value of the car, and dropping in / driving an 86/87 version was far more exciting than driving around with the original 85 setup. As for value, mine probably dropped in value, but I recently sold the 85 engine because I realized I will never go back and wasn't worried about value anymore!

Re: Quick Question
Thanks for the info. I was too slow though. Oh well, I guess I'll wait for my ideal car to come around. 86-87 T-Type Burgandy ext. Grey int. T-top, posi rear. only bolt on mods or mods that can be reversed easily. You know flawless paint and all that, lol. Thanks again.
